Nominated for success
Two of the Hub's clients have received nominations for the Brighton and Hove Business Awards (BAHBAs).
Daniel Hill from Tiger Enterprise has received a nomination for Best Young Entrepreneur. Currently Britain 's construction industry produces 89.6 million tonnes of unwanted building materials and 28 million tonnes of which ends up every year in landfill, a large proportion of which could be reclaimed and recycled.
Tiger Enterprise was founded in November 2006, to create a service for the reclamation of unwanted building materials so they may be recycled and reused. They are an eco friendly alternative to purchasing new building materials.

Locomatrix has also been nominated for an award. Concerned with rising levels of obesity and inactive youngsters, Locomatrix has developed a platform for GPS gaming on mobile phones, taking games away from the living room and out into the parks and play areas of Brighton and beyond. Using the same technology as your common Sat Nav system, Locomatrix has developed games that are played by sensing your global position allowing you to control the virtual space by physically moving in the real space, creating portable gaming for the Wii generation.
